I’m Fathimathul Hafeeda, and I’m so excited to share my recent trip to  Kavvayi backwater, located near Payyanur in Kerala. Known as the third-largest backwater in Kerala, Kavvayi is a hidden gem that offers a peaceful and natural therapy  experience.

🌊 My Experience at Kavvayi Backwater

Just yesterday, my cousins and I decided to go for a enjoyment  from Kannur city around 9 AM. By 11 o’clock, we reached our destination  and it was very wonderful place!

We booked a boat ride with Al Ameen Kayaking and Boat Services. They  provided us with life jackets, and soon, we get into the boat the ride to Kavvayi backwater is awsome it is a  7-seater boat  and guess what? It only cost ₹800, super affordable!

The ride was adventurous, peaceful, and filled with laughter. As we glided over the calm waters, surrounded by mangroves and the sounds of nature, I could feel all my stress melting away.

💦 Into the Heart of Kavvayi Backwater

We reached a shallow area — the heart of Kavvayi backwater — and got down into the water. Oh my God, it felt like heaven! The water was crystal clear and refreshingly cold, just up to our knees. The surrounding mangroves added a touch of wild beauty to the already magical view.

We laughed, played, danced, and made so many fun reels! I even pushed one of my cousins into the water for fun — and yes, it was hilarious! 😄 Time flew as we soaked in every moment. For a while, I completely forgot all my worries.

🛶 The Return

Eventually, it was time to head back. None of us wanted to leave, but we knew the boat was waiting. The return journey was equally soothing, and I couldn’t stop smiling the whole way back.

Honestly, this trip was more than just an outing — it was a healing experience. One that I’ll never forget.
